Back in the day thousands years ago there was no obesity nor sugar salt and alcohol. Humans were nomads meaning they never settled in one place we were forced to travel from place to place every different seasons in search of food and water.Humans were forced to have a diet that involved the mixture of meat with nuts and vegetables low in carbohydrates and high in protein on top of that humans in that time used three times more energy than we do now. In todays life we don't have to work as hard after the technological advances of the eighteenth century did a progressive increase in food supply.Everything changed with agriculture and cities, humans became inactive now we have overabundance of easily accessible food with reduced physical activity we no longer have to travel in search of food, food comes to us. Humans were designed to gain the normal physical fat to be used in times of needs to maintain a good level of energy even when food was scarce. The scarcity of food throughout most of history it had left to suggestions that being fat was good and that obesity and increased flesh were desirable as reflected in the arts, articles and medical opinions of the times. From that point on in the seventeenth century the first dissection on a obese human body was done in the eighteenth century the first detailed written study on obesity was done In the nineteenth century it was a concern with beauty and in the twentieth century it started being recognized a risk factor as fatal ever since then obesity keeps increasing dramatically until this day.
